Pyriproxyfen 10% EC
Chemical Composition: Pyriproxyfen a.1. 10.00% w/w, Emulsifiers: Blend of ionic and nonionic ca. salt of alkyl sulfonate and poly oxy ethylene ether 8.00% w/w, Solvent CIX: Solvent Naphtha (Petroleum, light aromatic) Q.S. %, Total: 100.000 W/W.
Recommendations: Pyriproxyfen is a systemic Insect growth regulator that suppresses embryogenesis and inhibits metamorphosis and reproduction in insects. It is used for the control of sucking pest on cotton crop & chilli crop.
Not to be used for post-harvest application, dangerous/harmful to fish-do not contaminate lakes, rivers, ponds or streams.
Not to be used on crops other than specified on this Label/Leaflet.
Direction Of Use: It should be applied as foliar spray, no specific soil conditions are prescribed. do not apply at flowering and just before harvesting (after observing phi), uniform coverage is necessary for effective control of insect pests, a simple knapsack sprayer fitted with hollow cone nozzle type can be used for spraying, mix the recommended dose ¼ of the recommended quantity of water to the spray tank with agitation, add remaining quantity of water with continuous agitation, ensure complete dispersion of the product in mix water before spraying of the spray solution, maintain agitation while spraying. Precautions: Protective clothing should be worm while mixing and spraying, wash contaminated clothes and body part of the body after application avoid inhalation, do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything during application.
Antidote: No specific antidote is known. apply symptomatic therapy.
First Aid:
- If inhaled remove the patient to fresh air. call the physician immediately.
- In case of contact with eyes immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes (remove contact lenses it easily possible) then take to a doctor.
- If on skin wash with plenty of soap and water. wash contaminated clothing before re-use. If swallowed, rinse mouth with water and give 1-2 glasses of water to drink, call the physician Immediately.
- Symptoms: Headache, Dizziness, Weakness, Nausea and Imitation or burns of esophagus gastrointestinal tract.
